At LabelVie Group, the 2024 back-to-school season is marked by records! Today, Carrefour Temara has secured the Guinness World Record for the largest assortment of mille-feuille ever exhibited in a hypermarket.

This record stands out for its presentation of 1,000 mille-feuilles, offered in 100 unique varieties, displayed in five thematic showcases: “Traditional Moroccan Mille-Feuille,” “All Chocolate Mille-Feuille,” “Mille-Feuille with a Thousand Fruits,” “Organic and Healthy Mille-Feuille,” and “Savory Mille-Feuille.”

Today’s event attracted significant public interest, with many visitors coming to admire the talent of the pastry chefs who crafted their creations live. As a gesture of solidarity, the mille-feuilles made during the event will be donated to the Moroccan League for Child Protection.

In organizing this exceptional event, the choice of mille-feuille came naturally, as it is a pastry beloved by Moroccans of all generations. Through this unique assortment in 100 variations, LabelVie Group aims to showcase the creativity and excellence of Moroccan pastry chefs while highlighting the richness of their craftsmanship. This new record, achieved under the Moroccan flag, is a source of national pride, reflecting the country’s vibrant local expertise.

Finally, the event was also a moment of sharing and conviviality, where Carrefour Témara customers were able to taste the original creations of the pastry chefs, creating an unforgettable culinary experience.

“In setting this record, we celebrate the talent of Moroccan pastry chefs by bringing a new dimension to this beloved pastry in Morocco. We are delighted to share this achievement with our Carrefour Temara customers and offer them a memorable culinary experience through the creations of our artisan pastry chefs,” said Ghalem Aoun, Director of Carrefour Temara.

The operation was carried out with the support of Sofadex, a key player in the bakery, pastry, and chocolate sector in Morocco. Sofadex supported the project by providing its expertise and that of its master pastry chefs, in collaboration with the pastry chefs from Carrefour Temara, to create the mille-feuille recipes showcased during the event.

The record was authenticated and certified by an official judge who traveled from London specifically for the event. With this accomplishment, Morocco adds its 29th record to the global leaderboard.
