As part of its corporate social responsibility (CSR) commitment under the “Ma3a Al Haouz” initiative, the LabelVie Group has undertaken a social action dedicated to the economic empowerment of women from El Haouz and their integration into the labor market.
On the occasion of International Women’s Rights Day, the LabelVie Group, in partnership with the Dar Bajdi restaurant in Amizmiz and the Moroccan Academy of Culinary Arts, launched a “Cooking Class” training program for around fifteen women from Amizmiz and its region. These women, affected by unemployment and the social and family impacts of the earthquake on September 8, benefited from this initiative.
On April 2, 2024, the LabelVie Group celebrated the completion of this culinary training at the Dar Bajdi Restaurant. The ceremony for the presentation of training certificates was attended by representatives from the LabelVie Group, the Moroccan Academy of Culinary Arts, the educational partner of the training, and the families of the graduates.
This training, which lasted a total of 100 hours, combined theory and practice, enabling the participants to acquire essential skills in Moroccan and international cuisine, as well as in pastry making. The certificate presentation ceremony was a moment filled with emotion, as each participant was recognized for her commitment and determination throughout the training.
Ms. Naoual Benamar, Chief Executive Officer of LabelVie Group, expressed her pride and gratitude towards the women of Amizmiz: “We are extremely proud of the progress made by the participants of this training. Offering job and internship opportunities is a realization of our commitment to women’s empowerment. This ceremony is a vibrant testimony to their will and determination.”
This initiative reflects the ongoing commitment of the LabelVie Group’s “Ma3a Al Haouz” CSR program to improving the living conditions of families in Al Haouz and the empowerment of women.
